Later, the visiting children stopped by the photography studio for a demonstration on how National Geographic photographers use light to create images for the magazine. Kids also had the chance to visit the National Geographic beehive and go behind the scenes of National Geographic Kids magazine to learn how the publication is made and help pick out a future cover!

Other activities included a scavenger hunt at the National Geographic Museum’s Queens of Egypt exhibit, a watch party of some of the best Nat Geo Kids videos, and a visit to the National Geographic Library to catch up on the latest Nat Geo Kids books.
