This year, National Geographic is kicking off Earth Day with an Earth Day Eve virtual celebration.
Hosted by travel expert Jessica Nabongo, the Earth Day Eve 2021 celebration will span the globe with visually stunning performances from some of the most beautiful places in the world. Through the combined power of music and storytelling, you’ll leave uplifted, energized, and with a renewed commitment to living more lightly on the planet.
The celebration will feature performances from AURORA, Angélique Kidjo, José González, Maggie Rogers, My Morning Jacket, Rostam, Valerie June, Willie Nelson, Yo-Yo Ma, and Ziggy Marley, as well as a world premiere new music video from My Morning Jacket.
The concert will premiere exclusively on Wednesday, April 21, at 8:30 p.m. EDT on the National Geographic YouTube channel and at NatGeo.com/EarthDayEve.
