National Geographic Live Launches Virtual Summer Program For Kids

This summer, National Geographic Live is helping kids stay engaged with the launch of its new summer program, Explorer Academy Adventures.

Designed for kids aged 8-11, Explorer Academy Adventures is a virtual campus that brings the world of adventure to the explorers of tomorrow. Over the course of 11 weeks, participants will be immersed in a world of wonder as they are transported from tropical rainforests to the deepest ocean—even to outer space.

Led by energetic hosts and real-life National Geographic Explorers, the academy features approximately two hours a day of engaging activities that will inspire kids’ curiosity and sense of adventure. Through a mix of streamed videos and self-directed activity, kids will conduct experiments, solve puzzles, play games, complete themed missions, and much more.

Explorer Academy Adventures is the latest in a series of new offerings from National Geographic Live, which brings world-renowned photographers, scientists, filmmakers, conservationists, and explorers to stages across the globe to share their inspiring stories from the field.
