WHAT: For 25 years, National Geographic Live, the live events division of National Geographic, has brought world-renowned photographers, scientists, filmmakers, conservationists, and adventurers to stages across the globe to share their inspiring stories and passion for the planet with audiences in person. Starting April 29, they will host weekly, interactive Facebook Lives with National Geographic Explorers every Wednesday at 1pm ET/ 10am PST. National Geographic Live: Backstage will take viewers to the real “base camps” – studios, labs, offices, garages & living rooms- for a virtual show and tell with some of the eclectic, rare, and unexpected things that National Geographic Explorers have in their homes. From unusual souvenirs to important research samples, everything has a story behind it- and some of the world’s greatest storytellers there to tell it.
